The Last Of The True Believers by Nanci Griffith
Mar 30 2022

What a nostalgic sound! It's a harmonious album--hard to pick a highlight. Super charming.

Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin
Mar 31 2022

Black Dog is a hype opener, and Stairway to Heaven is one of the greatest songs of all time. I've never sat down and listened to a Zeppelin album all the way through, and was introduced to many new songs that I liked, but I did feel that many of these songs dragged on.

Good music to cook to, but not something I'd listen too often.

Faith by George Michael

I feel so conflicted but . . . Father Figure is a bop . . . .

Little Earthquakes by Tori Amos
Apr 06 2022

I disliked this album at first but really warmed up to it as it went on. Her sound really reminds me of Kate Bush. Highlights: Happy Phantom, Leather

This took me back to the first time I listened to Supertramp's "School." I can't believe I haven't heard of this band sooner. I love this kind of meandering prog rock. The instant the organ kicked in during the first track, I was smitten. I'm being stingy with my final star for my absolute all-time favorites, but I came pretty close to giving five stars to this album.

White Blood Cells by The White Stripes
Apr 11 2022

The album starts and ends strong! There are some tracks in between I’ll probably never warm to, but overall I enjoyed the menacing guitars and Jack White’s honest voice.

Van Halen by Van Halen

Rock and roll, baybeeee.
