Rushfucking amazing. a 20 minute sci-fi epic in 7 parts. this is everything I want out of music. the b side isn't bad, but I'm rating this 5 stars for the title track alone

upbeat energetic old school punk. nice and melodic. its short enough so as not to get repetitive. really good album
weird as hell. it seems like black midi took a lot of influence from this. its definitely not something I'd listen to all the time but its interesting for sure.
Retro vibes. Not bad but I can't really see myself coming back to this. It's pretty chill and inoffensive, it just didn't grab me at all. Overall, this is the sort of stuff that I wouldn't mind as background music; there just weren't any hooks to make me want to seek this album out again.
some cool soundscapes and nice production. most of the songs drag on though. highlights: the bones of you grounds for divorce the fix one day like this
Some nice synth textures here. Overall a little too downtempo and one-note for me. I feel like good headphones and a joint may improve the album though.
not a huge fan. I can hear some Beatles influence but this is nowhere near as good as them. Jump into the Fire is the highlight of the album for sure, but other than that none of the songs really grabbed me.
kind of a haunting atmosphere. I don't really like it though. the vocals are kind of grating, and it feels like the album is trying to be weird for the sake of being weird. the glorious land would be good if it weren't for the jarring bugle sample. It seems like she really cares a lot about England and I just can't relate
music to make love to. I like the production. also I love how all the songs flow seamlessly; I'm a sucker for albums that do that.
Quirky 90s indie rock. Overall not too bad, but the instrumentation is a little sparse; I'd have liked to have heard bigger production and more distortion. a pretty good album though
songs of heartbreak and loss. I had high hopes for this album; I've liked the Frank Sinatra I've heard in Fallout, and I love concept albums. overall it had a really warm, nostalgic sound to it, but it was a little too samey for my tastes. its still good background noise though
some early Beatles vibes. I like the vocal harmonies. not bad but not much sticks out.
weird and experimental. kind of sad when you know the lore behind it. I feel like if I listened to it again it would get better. its interesting.
When I saw that this was British indie rock, my expectations were kind of low. After Elbow and PJ Harvey, I didn't think much of the genre. This album blew me away. The sheer variety of genres kept it from getting boring over its 64 minute runtime. I'll definitely revisit this one.
I wasnt a big fan of this. the beats were good but nothing really grabbed me. I dont have much experience with rap so maybe I just need more exposure to the genre, but the album just kind of dragged and the hour runtime didn't help.
kind of punkish new wave sound. side A is pretty good, but side B drags a little.
I'm not gonna lie, this album sucked. it had all the grandiose overblown rock sound of U2 combined with the worst parts of folk music. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, there was a slow sappy country song.
this was interesting. it felt like my white ass mom's idea of rap lol. the beats were simple and it was overall kind of goofy, but there were also times that it sounded like a proto-Beastie Boys.
this is the kind of music I came to this project for. this album doesn't exist according to Wikipedia and spotify lol. its like prog-funk? idk what to call it but its pretty badass. I like the variety of sounds on the album and different sections and stuff, its pretty cool.
wow. I'd only ever heard their singles before this album, I had no idea that they rocked this hard. pretty kickass album with lots of good guitar parts.
fast, heavy, aggressive. good drumming. the rap parts were kind of cringe. the vocals in general were kind of hit or miss. overall not bad, I didn't think I would like slipknot this much
mid as hell. overproduced, overdramatic stadium rock shit. I dont see how this gets so highly rated on here. some of the guitar work is alright but thats about the only interesting thing here.
pretty solid power pop. at its best when it was more guitar heavy rock
pretty dense textured sound. side 3 is incredible. overall it runs a little long but there's some pretty good stuff here.
melancholy tavern music. its alright.
pretty good blues album. there are a few songs where the 80s production shows but other than that it's a solid album
upbeat energetic old school punk. nice and melodic. its short enough so as not to get repetitive. really good album

its an okay album. even over the nice bossa nova arrangements, this is standard frank Sinatra crooning. I feel like Sinatra doesn't really add much to this album, but I'd be interested in checking out some of Jobim's other work.
good musicianship and I like the political messages. I feel like I need to be stoned to get the most out of reggae tho lol
