Not exactly my favourite style/era of music, but a plus was that California Dreamin' was really good. The album also wasn't necessarily a slog but I probably won't listen to any of the other songs afterwards.

I was already a fan of Metallica before this, but it was nice to listen to some songs that aren't in their top 5. I would say that it requires a specific mood or moment. Pretty good all around, might listen to this whole album again if I don't know what else to listen to. Master of Puppets and Battery are definitely the banger outliers.

quite calming music, all of the songs sounded pretty much the same but overall the experience of this album was very good.

Honestly pretty mediocre, I only liked a couple songs (and they weren't the most streamed ones) but the rest were super basic and boring.

I was really surprised actually! I've never heard of this band before even though I like this era of music. The short songs really seem to fit the album format the best so far. Pretty unique music, my first 5 star rating.

Well, I'll give it that the songs were really well mixed. I'm not sure if this would be one of the top albums of 2000 or why it's on the 1001 albums to listen to but I digress. Keeping Pigs Together was pretty decent, but it went downhill from there. ...after a while, this album kindof grew on me? not a high rating or anything but it wasn't as horrible as I originally thought. 2.5/5
