1001 Albums Summary

Really solid album. I’d never listened to it before I bought it on vinyl in 2021. It’s not really what I’d listen to normally with a heavier country feel, but can’t deny her amazing vocals and the general musicality displayed here.

My first real encounter with Steely Dan was playing Bodhisattva on Rock Band. It quickly became one of my favourite songs in the games. The album in general isn't quite as strong for me as Aja, and mostly falls a bit flat after the opening track.

Fun, catchy, this album is 80's rock to its core. It's the kind of album that you simply can't turn up loud enough.

Really solid album. Hole and Courtenay Love in general has always had to fight through the shadow of Kurt Cobain. Living or dead, the comparisons and criticisms were always present. If people could see past that (which they should, since their only real connection is their relationship) they’d find a deep and talented artist.
