wowow great stuff all around, never been one for the 80s psych pop aesthetic but every moment of this album is filled with things to dig into. The opening track with its lush instrumentation leading naturally into the infectious poison aarow, the lyricism in tears are not enough and the groovy bop that is the look of love. Of course the cheezy hand claps and background vocals subject of the 80s pop sound pull me straight out of the immersive strings and sax as well as the very one tone idealism that is a love songs album with lacking overall depth or storyline to follow both hurt the personal enjoyment for me, but the depth of the instrumentation, tasteful samples, and the beautiful singing of Martin Fry gives this album a second or third full listen in my book. 9.1/10

I feel so HORNY and RESPECTED RN. DAMN. 9.7/10
A genius but a product of his time. Inspired so many, and yet I never want to listen to tutti frutti ever again 8.2/10
Idk... Its abba... There is nothing special here and there really never was? I'm probably biased tho 3.6/10
top 100 album GOAT 9.9/10
whoof what a ride. love love love the doors. they can manage to make any subject matter harrowing and expressive, that being said, the subject matter in Morrison Hotel is one track, and for that reason I'm docking as many points as I probably could for a 70s doors album 9.7/10
