Hail To the Thief by Radiohead
Aug 24 2022

Cool variety, nice soundscapes, great guitar and synth tones on this. Really enjoyed scatterbrained and there there

good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar
Aug 25 2022

Masterpiece of an album, amazing storytelling. Would be the best rap album of the 2010s if Kendrick didn't have himself to compete with

Purple Rain by Prince
Aug 26 2022

Great pop album with some really catchy songs. Has a few highs and lows for me, but has that sound you can't find anywhere else

Deep Purple In Rock by Deep Purple
Aug 27 2022

Really enjoyed this and a very pleasant surprise as I only knew them as "that band that made Smoke on the Water". Drums and guitar are fantastic on this and I have a soft spot for hard rock + organ.

Aug 28 2022

The definitive shock rap album. Has some great hits and hilarious bits. Pretty incredible how much of this album has inspired the current pop culture.

Live! by Fela Kuti
Aug 29 2022

Really enjoyed that you could feel the energy of the live performance. All around great, naturally the drumming was a stand out here with lots of cool rhythms

american dream by LCD Soundsystem
Aug 30 2022

Enjoyed the synthy and more experimental stuff. Felt very talking heads to me in a good way.

The Undertones by The Undertones
Aug 31 2022

Cool album, interesting to hear an early form of punk rock

New York Dolls by New York Dolls
Sep 01 2022

Cool sound, you can hear the mix of influences of rock and roll mixed with what would eventually become punk rock

Broken English by Marianne Faithfull
Sep 13 2022

I can see why people really enjoy this, but it's not really for me

Now I Got Worry by The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion
Sep 15 2022

Great guitar, had a few tracks that fell short for me. Enjoyed the unique tone throughout

Among The Living by Anthrax
Sep 16 2022

Some great classic thrash on here. Could feel a bit samey at times, but went hard throughout.

Modern Kosmology by Jane Weaver
Sep 17 2022

Some great classic thrash on here. Could feel a bit samey at times, but went hard throughout.

Sep 27 2022

Very much an early 90s hip hop record, some good messages thrown in with some damnations of “gangsta rap”. A lot of good vocal performances and good (although a bit dated) production. Although I didn’t really find any of these sticking with me the way Tribes’ debut did.
