1001 Albums Summary

I recognize "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone" from movie soundtracks. Perhaps the devil wears prada? It occurs to me how many songs I will hear on this album list that are sampled in songs of today. "The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face" moved me. I really liked "Mother Nature."

Showed me the genesis of some of the songs I grew up listening to in Mom's mini van, specifically, Kashmir and Ten Years Gone. I wound up actaully really liking some of the track songs as well. I added "Bron-Yr-AUr" and "Boogie with Stu" to some playlists.

Truly a timeless and diverse album.

The prelude to pop albums for a millennium.

Great album, just not a huge Green Day fan.
