Californication
Red Hot Chili PeppersQuite a dreamy album. Can definitely hear those 60s/70s California vibes coming through. Powered by those bass and drums, ties it all together.

Had no idea this album was the origin of the disco anthem Le Freak. Some very strong guitar rhythm.
Right. Never really listened to Dylan other than as accompaniment to movies etc. But wow, there is some good stuff here.
Tight, well put together hip-hop album.
Very mellow rhythms.
Had a surprising amount of passion and lament in it, balanced by the music arrangement. Felt like elements of Springsteen?
Monkey rub down under the sheets? WTF? Anyway. Lots of groove, a bit of wistfulness, some wanton lust and free spirit. A good sound, but perhaps a bit dated.
Yeah, this is a great album. Such a lot of passion, feeling and pace for a guitar/drum/vocal band.
