1001 Albums Summary

Its a pretty good album if you have never listened to music before. I often hear people describe Oasis as "beatlesque". It lacks the subtlety and only achieves similarity in the Britishness category, which is a pretty shallow assessment. The biggest distinction between Oasis and the Beatles, and honestly the same in the case of Oasis vs. Radiohead (a more contemporary Brit rock comparison), is Oasis can't arrange for shit in comparison. That being said, I do really like the track don't look back in anger, and the drums on wonderwall are good. Honestly memes aside, wonderwall is a solid song.

Great music to go indefinitely to. In any direction with little regard. Its aggro but also somewhat delicate -There is a deep sense of urgency in the music. Not for everyday listening, but they were really true originals.
