Hail To the Thief
RadioheadGreat album! Compositionally very fresh and complex but still holds a beautiful simplicity.

I really enjoyed most of the album. The blend of electronic instrumentation with guitar, and drum machines and real drums kept it alive in a way that might not be possible on their own. Not to mention it had some absolute ripping guitar solos throughout that actually surprised me.

The most creative folk album I've heard. Lots of interesting instrumentation, odd rhythms, and many different influences as opposed to their more traditional work. Still holds true to what you expect from Simon & Garfunkel, great storytelling with twists and turns being suspended by a masterful understanding of melody and deep harmony.
Wonderful album. Runs the full spectrum of bliss and beauty to horror and strangeness and hits everything in between. It is truly artistic statement.
Production sounds very dated, made it hard for me to fully immerse myself in the album. On some deep tracks it sounded more timeless, like it could be an R&B song that had recently come out. On the hits though it was very late 90's/early 00's sounding, which is somewhat nostalgic but hard to take seriously as a whole album to play.
Great mix of rock of the time. V psychedelic. Enjoyed the mix of live/studio
Throwback to Middle School... Out of this style of music, I dig it the most. Goes hard but still has melody and riffage. Thrashes and grooves and has good vocals.
Takes me back to college, I found this album pretty late (2017ish) but it was definitely influential. I don’t know if I would’ve been as receptive to it when it had come out. Will be interesting to listen again after several years. I still love the ambiance and the ethereal textures. Combined with the looped drums and trance inducing bass make for some great music to get lost to. The overall structures of the song holds everything together from getting to out there. Some of these songs do the 80's soft rock thing way better than anything from the actual 80's. So much fun.
