A Hard Day's Night
BeatlesPre-listening: Ah, The Beatles take the first album? I wonder if this is in any kind of order. I don't really know that much more about The Beatles than any average musician would know. I definietly haven't intentionally listend to A Hard Day's Night, and I have no earthly idea where it is in their discography. Probably early, I'd bet. Peri-listening: 1964 was 58 years ago, and yet there's something about the sound that doesn't sound nearly that old. Maybe I'm just growing old, but this was on the radio when my parents were kids. Literally my parents' music. The remaster obviously is an improvement over any other way to listen in modern times. On the radio or on a table this probably sounded way grainier, but we didn't demaned ultra high fidelity back then. I understand the digital vs. analog difference but you can't really argue with modern bitrates if the mastering is done well.
