American IV: The Man Comes Around
Johnny CashI've heard this one quite a few times because my parents played the shit out of it. Hurt is obviously legendary but my other favorite is 'I Hung My Head' 3/5

Second favorite beatles album easy 4/5
great grooves.
foundational and transitional. Illmatic is my nominee for best rap album but nothing sounded like this at the time.
Best U2 album by a country mile. Very easy listen and some really catchy grooves. 3.5/5 (4/5) It also reminds me of one of my favorite music jokes: Bono, whilst playing a gig in Glasgow, got the whole crowd to be silent and then began slowly clapping his hands. He got the crowd to clap along for a while, the stadium quiet except for the rhythmic clapping… After a short period Bono spoke, saying that everytime he clapped his hands a child in Africa died … Suddenly, from the front row of the venue a voice broke out in thick Scottish brogue, ending the silence as it echoed across the crowd, the voice cried out to Bono “Well stop ****ing doing it then!!”
solid classic rock album. Not my tastes though
Radiohead yes
4/5. I had heard this before as a longtime fan of Odd Future. Personally I prefer blond but I can easily listen to this. Favorite track is Pyramids, as popular as it is.
I don't know where dire straits sits in their cultural relevancy, but I liked this. Sultans of Swing is a classic.
It's fitting that this album is called 'Bookends', except rather than bookending anything Simon and Garfunkel are responsible for, it seems to be bookending the end of The Beatle's golden era IMO (in sequence, sgt. peppers, Revolver, The white album, and abbey road) and the beginning of Pink Floyd's iconic sound development that begins with Atom Heart Mother in 1970. If you were to sequence these two iconic runs between two of the best bands of all time and inject a heavily folk infused lyricism in the space between, well... It's good, is what I'm saying. It's not perfect, but it falls in line with some fantastic company. 3.5/5
MOTHER FUCKING TRIBE I've heard this a thousand times over and will listen a thousand times again. The most influential hip hop album of all time and for good reason. 5/5
"Mooooom! The weird goth kid is beating the shit out of his casio again!" "His name is Robert dear and you'll feel really sorry for bullying him in 20 years when Brandon Flowers steals his vocal cords and you're humming Mr. Brightside." 2/5
This is my comfort genre. 4/5
This was much better than I was expecting, knowing nothing about it. I am reluctant to give it a 5 but i'm not sure i like giving it a 4 either
I have never heard of this band or album before and I'm so happy to have heard them now. Catchy indie/poppy melodies sang over mid 90s modulation. Clearly inspired by R.E.M. and taking modern electronic guitars and production in stride this was incredibly listenable. I didn't hear anything tremendously groundbreaking but I didn't hear anything that made me want to turn it off either 7/10
3/5 Roentgen. Not great, Not terrible.
it's alright. I really wish i could rate it out of ten 5/10 2/5

Classic House/electronic music - Just in the year 2007 and not 1997. Very listenable
