hits you fast with lets go crazy before some mellower songs before finishing extremely strongly with purple rain. The songwriting remains quite strong throughout.

Decent album but got that 90s goodness with the deez nuts joke and just people having sex in-between the songs. At least it got the GTA bit tho

Incredible. the unique vocal style of Joni mixes with meladolic instrumentation to create an otherworldly tone, when more bass-ey instruments on "The Jungle Line" are used it really succeeds in disrupting this and making you feel an uneasyness underneath. Similar sounding country for the most part to some of crosby stills and nash which makes the use of jazz piano stand out being an older musical style adds to the theme of nostalgic longing in the song that features it.

I love a bit nick cave. Interesting concept for an album but the end felt a bit corny.

quite nice and folky. it went on a but towards the end would've definitely benefitted from being a little bit briefer.

Incredible album, Lou reed is simply fantastic, however it doesn't quite have the punch of his stuff while with the velvet underground so it leaves a little to be desired.
