Loving the boyband rebellion vibes. The album is home to some iconic pop classics as well as some unexpected lyrics, my favourite being ‘am I straight or gay? I hope I’m old before I die. I hope I live to see the day the pope gets high’.
An interesting one for sure, good example of some music from the 70’s as it sounded like a bunch of noises put together. Nothing too memorable and can’t say it’s stood the test of time but you can still respect the album for what it is.
The album was off to a great start, the titular song was totally up my alley. I also appreciated the seamless transitions between every song, however it made it hard to appreciate each song for what it was as I didn’t know where one ended and another started. Not a big fan of the industrial electronic vibe in some songs but overall was a decent listening experience. As a note, part of ‘Summer Crane’ sounded exactly like a Minecraft backing track.
Definitely a fun album, I enjoyed the song dedicated to mars bars. Still some strong 60’s boyband influences that I’m not so keen on but for a debut album it’s pretty good, bet it got the crowds going wild way back when
Personally loved this album. Probably not the best idea to listen at the gym but I loved the peacefulness, I could definitely see myself listening to more.
This album does a great job of making you feel cool whilst listening to it, at least it did for me. It started off well, I didn’t mind the music, however we’re now a day on from listening and I couldn’t really identify anything specific that I liked. Probably wouldn’t go back to it any time soon, but I didn’t hate my time listening to it
Very calming, I’d probably play this album in the background of a fancy dinner. Lovely vocals, and I always enjoy the mystery of listening to music in a different language
Surprisingly liked this one, despite it being an absolute chaotic mess. I can imagine an audience going absolutely mental to this and that’s something I tend to look for in music. Loud and messy but a lot of fun, I do love a bit of punk rock every now and then
Enjoyable, probably won’t go back to it in the future but was nice for a change of pace
Not too much to write home about on this one, can’t say anything stood out but I didn’t hate listening
Don’t often listen to live albums but it’s always a nice change. Good songs, would probably listen again!
