1001 Albums Summary

Great piece of Americana. Apart from the 5 or so "hits", I was taken by the bluesy nature of the album.

Wow. How had I never heard of this? This guy is the link between the rock'n'roll of the fifties and the soul of James Brown.

Always loved Talking Heads. And this album displays their punk origins.

Never really got the appeal of The Who. Can't deny their influence, and I was hoping this listen might "educate" me, help me finally get them. But it didn't.
