best arctic monkeys album and one of my favorite debut albums
the production is outdated doesn’t mean the songs aren’t good the basslines and vocals with the symphonys and the flows are all amazing but when some of the verses fall flat but the backround instrumentals and vocals make up for it, the tones switch consistently to a nice fast steady flow to them going all prince and the themes are wonderful, ending track is best ending track i’ve heard in a while.
it was alright not my favorite there are some bangers that are really good but it was just okay
the cords and the vocals are good, they sound like it was very inspired by the sex pistols and have similar sounds but the clash brings so much more to then table thank just being egotistical and they sound more enveloped/developed and the vocalist is amazing, an extremely good album, all the songs are good they all have the same energy which I love and it brings the album to life
sounds like a cliche country album it’s decent just not my taste and i’d understand if country fans like this record just not my cup of tea although there were good songs and favs were dear doctor, parachute woman, street fighting man and prodigal son 2/5 not the best just the kind of album you want to just finish up already
good
best song is take your waltz and background vocals are the thing that is holding up this album up, leonard vocals are very monotone, his singing sucks, the record is very mediocre, it’s horribly produced there are weird places in songs that are so unessesary it’s so underwhelming and it feels like they should be more grand and the producing feels like they half assed it and just left it there thinking it was decent only thing holding it up as I said were background vocals and the underwhelming strings and some of the songs are uncomfortable to me and in such weird places 1.5/5 it sucked (i think i’m too nice)
beatiful this album is her best album that she has ever pulled out 10/11 song still a 5/5 great hits on there absolutely incredible her vocals the instrumentals everything is amazing the themes incredible nothing bad about this album
amazing one of favorite bands implementing all kinds of music and still being able to gain a reputation, all the songs are good, have unique personalities, the drum beats are good, the vocals, when they implement a new genre into a song it’s like it’s still part of the album but it’s just another song the style switches are so clean, the album is great. the jazz, hip hop, RNB, and more genres coming together to make this the only in this album, but some of the songs don’t hit as hard but some don’t some do it just depends on feelings, the album should be very praised the amount of versatility they have is incredible 10/10 would recommend a listen
their best album that i’ve listened too, with the best instrumentals, riffs, shreds and the chugs, and lyrics, the opening track going straight into it not giving us any breaks. their drums sounding really good in this album and not sounding like random snares. one of their heavier albums. and i also hate the government and the rich, they have political commentary going against how they should shut up since they control everything. and how no one has true has true freedom 5/5
I fucking love this album, the instrumentals, her messages of woman’s power their progression in human history, her themes of love and heartbreak, her inspiration for her music, there’s so much personality in this project, and she hates oppressive men which is honestly so fucking real, all the chord progressions, beats, and piano, fav tracks are shameika, relay, i want you to love me, i was vibing the entire time, it just inspires me itself and makes me want to jam forever and ever, and her singing is just wow, she has so much range and creativity it’s amazing and i love the jazz inspirations, my fav soul-rnb album behind curtis mayfield
