listened to before: yes!! favorite song (overall): crown of love least favorite song (overall): don't think i can choose one, love them all saddest song: neighborhood #4 (7 kettles) most upbeat: neighborhood #3 (power out) best instrumental: haiti pros: call him pretentious but win butler can write a song about growing up. both funeral and the suburbs make me feel an empty nostalgia. however, listening to this album as i'm getting ready to graduate, and becoming an adult and everything is changing, it hurts a little more. the lyrics and the sounds, after listening again, i think i like this project more than the suburbs. cons: arcade fire is so near and dear to my heart, i cried listening to this, therefore i can't give it any cons. best moment: beginning of neighborhood #1 (1+2 choruses)
