1001 Albums Summary

Not my usual style but most songs didn’t phase me and i liked the raunchy sounding vocals

Really enjoyed this record brought me to a place I’ve never been before. This sound was so rich and his nostalgic vocals were gold. The love lyrics could relate to me as well. Definitely added some of these songs to my rotation.

The simplicity of this album is amazing. This album gave me a feeling of being alone. It makes me see Nick Drake creating this album just by himself. I didn’t expect to like this but this album brought be calm and steady emotions.

At first I didn’t like the sound of this album because of how intense the woman’s vocals and sounds are. I didn’t care for the vocals to be honest I think they were impressive and fit the sound well. This is a genre i know but don’t usually enjoy. I enjoyed listening to the instrumentals though.

The sounds of this album was great. I focused more on the sound then lyrics because there weren’t that many (which i kind of liked). All the different sounds intrigued me and I’m just glad i had to honor to listen to this work of art.

Holy moly, I love this album every song on it made my ears feel heavenly. I will definitely be going back to this album I related so much to the lyrics. I love the sound of the instruments. This was just a fucking classic.

I think I’ve heard the intro in my dreams. I really enjoyed the intense simplicity of this album. Really fucking cool.

Very cool way to introduce myself into this genre. Love how he sounds perfect even while live. Shit load of historical nostalgia. Helps paint a picture of the scene of music back then.

Like the instruments not really the vocals. Don’t think this is really my genre but i respect it.

I didn’t think i would like this album one bit. I was wrong. I got me hyped i loved hearing that guitar and I think I’ll use some of this for workout motivation.

Really enjoyed the old time feeling of this album. Didn’t mind it.

Really good album. Definitely can feel how personal it is to her. I feel as if I would understand more if I were a woman.
