1001 Albums Summary

- Debaser: Nice opener to the album. Instrumentals was great and not over the top. 7/10 - Tame: I like the bass line; very catchy. Overall not bad song. 7/10 - Wave of Mutilation: Gutiars sound great. Melody and notes sound great. 7/10 - I Bleed: Bass and drums are great and carry the song through. 6/10 - Here Comes Your Man: Decent song overall. 5/10 - Dead: Okay. 5/10 - Monkey Gone to Heaven: Rhythm is great. Bass and guitar and drums are really nice. Vocals are great and chorus is as well. 8/10 - Mr. Grieves: Reggae vibes in the beginning was cool. Rest of the sing was okay. 5/10 - Crackity Jones: Okay. Kinda like the chaotic sound of it. 5/10 - La La Love You: Beginning was good. The guitar line was good. Wish they did more with this track. 6/10 - No 13 Baby: I like the vocal style in this track. Guitar was good towards the end. 6/10 - There Goes My Gun: Chorus melody is good, catchy. Simple but good. 8/10 - Hey: Mid section was groovy and chill. We're chained part sounds nice. 6/10 - Silver: 3/4 is nice. Pretty good overall. Like the sound. 8/10 - Gouge Away: Bass carries great. Good to close the album. 6/10

- Mr. Self Destruct: Loud but I guess is the point of the song. 5/10 - Piggy: Very good listen. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Bass is really catchy. 8.5/10 - Heresy: Pretty good song. Kinda like the distortion sound of it 7/10. - March Of The Pigs: Liked the parts where the influence came down. 6/10 - Closer: Verses sound good. Very groovy song. Like the industrial sound of it. 8/10 - Ruiner: 80 vibes. Okay overall. 6/10 - The Becoming: Instrumentals are nice. 5/10 - I Do Not Want This: Not feeling this one. Okay. 4/10 - Big Man With A Gun: Okay. Instrumentals are nice. 5/10 - A Warm Place: Nice instrumental track. 6/10 - Eraser: Okay. 5/10 - Reptile: Okay. 5/10 - The Downward Spiral: Liked the first half. 5/10 - Hurt: A good song. I like Johnny's cover more however. I still appreciate the original. 7/10 Final thoughts: Not a bad album overall. Not my personal taste however. Felt some parts dragged on a bit and some was too loud for my taste. I liked the theme (?) of the album and could really sense this person's downward spiral and felt they did a good job in conveying that feeling especially through the instrumentals and lyrics.
