First two tracks were slow and I didn’t like them at first, but I relistened and liked the opener, especially with its buildup. The album picks up afterwards with Celia & Keep the Customer Satisfied. Very folky album and some nice guitar work (Baby Driver) and cute melodies (The Boxer). The mix on Bye Bye Love with the audience hurts my ears, especially into the last song.

I’ve listened to this one before and I love it even more! Just some tight grunge with great riffs and vocals. Black Hole Sun has my GH3 nostalgia. Album is a bit too long and repetitive as I started to check out in the 2nd half, but it still has its moments

Some solid indie rock! Big fan of the opening track as well has Made of Stone. Guitar work is great and it’s a fun listen. Last two songs get a little psychotic and reminds me of KGLW

This album is mixed so good - each instrument just punches you (ie end of bullet in your head). I absolutely love this album! The riffs, lyricism and energy is just unmatched and gets me going

Not as good as the later Iron Maiden stuff I heard but still good. There’s some songs which are just solos that are quite good, and solid riffs get the hand banging going. My main gripes are Bruce’s vocals and sound quality - thankfully that’s improved in later albums.

The singers voice is awful and the mix is whack - everything is just mush. On Oliver’s Army he just drops the n word lmao. There’s moments in songs I like but then I’m pulled out by either a change to the instrumental, the vocals or lyrics. I thought party girl and goon squad was pretty good tho. The carnival clown theme on Sunday best is very fitting to this album.
