Great: Velouria, Allison, Is She Weird, All Over the World, Dig for Fire, The Happening, Havalina Good: Hang Wire, Stormy Weather, Down to the Well, Blown Away, Ok: The Rest Fantastic album! Almost perfect from start to finish although there are a few weaker points. Definitely not the masterpiece that is Doolittle but still a fantastic album!
The whole album is great front to back! Not something I'd typically listen to and will maybe only revisit the standout songs however beautiful album in almost aspects.
Really love the vocal harmonies throughout the album very pretty.
Instrumentation is pretty and lush sounding. Vocals are completely droning and boring however making the whole album a bit of a slog to get through.
Practically a perfect album. Masterpiece front to back and and a huge influence for some of the greatest bands of the 90s and going forward. Easy 5 stars
Iconic 'Gangster Rap' album not really my style but still a decent bit to appreciate on the album.
Boring drivel vocals. Somewhat interesting instrumentation that's constantly trying to be dissonant and disjointed and sometimes doesn't work. Although not the worst thing I've ever listened to definitely not going to come back to it.
- Make the Woman Love Me fucks - In and Out of the Shadows fucks - Runaway Man fucks - More to you fucks - Hey My Love fucks The rest range from good to fine but filler. Overall good album I liked it.
- Growing on me is a great track! - I Believe in a Thing Called Love still bangs! - Love is only a feeling is great! - Friday Night is a nice song! - Love on the rocks with no ice goes hard! - Holding my own is a great rock ballad! Great guitar solos throughout the whole album worth listening to just for the fun guitar solos through the project
- Ain't Got Nothing is a pretty song Generally pretty nice album not a tonne of standout tracks but a short easy fun listen front to back generally just a pleasant album.
Initially I was going to go through and write a few sentences about which songs I liked on this album but this album is an album you sit down and listen to as a collective. A beautiful spacey ethereal album with amazing production each song as gripping as the next highly recommend will definitely come back to this 5/5.
Just kind of a stock standard blues album heard 1000s of times before pleasant enough but not too interesting and been done better. Also fuck Eric Clapton. 2/5
- Holes is a great opener! Love it and would listen to it again. - Tonite It Shows was nice and can totally see as a song that would grow on me on repeat listens - Goddess On A Hiway is fantastic super catchy what a great chorus - Solo in the middle of Funny Bird is amazing 4/5 good album will listen again
Great Jazz album! Beautiful however I don't feel qualified to judge the albums quality and Jazz isn't something I generally listen to as anything but background music
- Rio was a fun listen - My own way was catchy - Hungry like the wolf is pretty iconic - Really not a fan of new religion. In general the album was a fairly catchy 80s synth pop album however a lot of the songs toward the back half slowly start to meld together might come back to a few songs but likely wont come back to the full album.
yep thats 80s metal its ok red white and blue was awful though
Just pure chaos idk who sits down and listens to this I'm sure its technically impressive but damn its genuinely headache inducingly unlistenable.
- Opening 3 tracks all go hard. - Slow Ride and Girls are both super goofy but catchy - Fight For Your Right and No Sleep Till Brooklyn are both iconic - Paul Revere is a pretty cool song with a fun story - Brass Monkey Slaps Can see myself coming back to this album in the right mood for sure.
Kinda Bowie vibes in some ways a pretty good rock album. Would come back to some songs.
Great electronic album kinda like Daft Punk but not as good. Will most likely revisit this a fair bit! Best Songs: - D.A.N.C.E - Newjack - Phantom I + II - The Party
Nice soundtrack but really not something I'd seek out to listen to again. Might check out the movie at some point though.
Never really listened to a Beatles album all the way through. Can definitely see the insane influence they have had on other artists a great collection of songs throughout no skips.
Iconic album already knew almost every song and can see why its hailed as being a classic.
Boring repetitive electro dance album not a fan
I enjoyed it pretty good early punk album. Production is a little rough but works in the albums favor probably won't return to it but not bad at all!
Honestly this fucking slaps like hands smacking the stretched skins of some bongos. Not exactly something id listen to when driving around but great background music! 3/5
Not as big of a fan of this as Licensed to Ill but still pretty decent Sabotage is a classic
Not a bad album especially considering foo fighters at this point was just Dave Grohl but most definitely no the best foo fighters album
An amazing shoegaze album. Absolute standouts of the genre
