Never heard of T. Rex before but definitely have heard Get It On. I can see why this album is influential. It has a really cool sound. Have to listen more to really get the lyrics and themes.
Some of the songs, like "Stronger" and "Fuck me pumps" don't really hold up lyrically today. It's a shame, because Amy is a great performer, but I can't really see myself listening to this very much.
Classic album, didn't realize how many of these songs I knew and liked.
Pretty diverse album. I listened to this when I was younger and liked seven nation army, but none of the other songs really did it for me. This time around, my music tastes have expanded and I now have a greater appreciation for it. Was particularly struck by "In the Cold, Cold Night" which reminded me of "Train Song" by Vashti Bunyan.
