Loved the titular song, but everything else felt repetitive and like I was listening to the same thing over and over again. 2 stars.
I just can't fully get behind it. A very chill daft punk in my opinion, and not just that they're a French duo- the sound is a simply relaxed version of them. Strong start with la femme and sexy boy, each of which are iconic, but it tails off to a point where I'm guessing and hoping for more. Can see why many people would enjoy it though. Solid 3 overall.
Very soft rock but a very good listen. Feels very familiar, with sounds I've encountered around rock, suggesting it influenced many modern rock forms, or was itself influenced by beatles, stones etc. Overall very enjoyable listen and feels as if it grows in a tenderness as it goes along. Maybe not a recreational one for me personally but good to get an appreciation for earlier and more classic (albeit not the most famous or well-known) sounds of rock.
Boss to be honest. A classic sound and a world away from the coldplay that has sold out today. Spies and yellow are personal favourites
There was a huge difference between what I enjoyed and what I didn't. 3 overall, personal favourites are sweet dreams, jennifer and I could give you a mirror.
