1001 Albums Summary

I remember this being a one hit wonder. The album is better than I expected. Glad I listened, but not sure I will be going back for more

Solid blues. Some creative arrangements.

Literal perfection

A surprise for me. I had somehow never listened to this. But it was great. Hey seem to understand song length, and what each song needs. Not afraid to have a 2 minute song followed by a 7 minute song. Throw in horns, slightly different styles. I could see this moving to a 5.

Good for the genre, but not my favorite genre.

I am sure someone loves this album, but it’s not for me.

Very solid. Always liked this album.

This was good. The opening track is a bold choice. I like this more than I expected. But. Why are 2 of the first 10 albums Scottish Synth? Lol

So unique and powerful

This is not great to me. I can imagine this would be music I would enjoy making, but it does not seem significant in any musical way. It sounds like straight forward electronic music that is decently produced. I would expect to hear this in any yoga studio, but would never seek it out.

Any Temptations album is great. And this has Papa Was A Rolling Stone, which is an all time great, but this is far from their best album.

So great! I prefer Ride the Lightning, but this is is still a perfect album.

This is a hidden gem. Love it.

Fun album and well made, but not in the top 1001.
