1001 Albums Summary

Monday morning hype. Instantly transported back to bar 36, flailing limbs and teenage angst. Raw riffs aplenty. Have flirted with buying this for about a year so a great acid test. By the end I am just as unsure. The highs are very very good. Let down badly by a few very average and uninspiring album tracks. Personal highlight is black tongue. 4/5.

Was very excited to find this was up next. Quite like a bit of rap but found this a struggle. Thought I was more likely to come out wanting to buy a Yankee hat. Lyrics were average at best, found the beat overly complicated and abit rubbish and lacking any flow. Had to really battle to get through it all. Genuinely hope someone rates it 5 so they can explain to me what I am missing. Seriously disappointing. Favourite song was never change.

Fine. Not really for me. Didn't hate it but won't be back. Found it abit one dimensional.

Chaotic at times but an enjoyable first listen. Can hear plenty of bands I like in this they obviously influenced. Will be back for more.

Surprisingly enjoyable. Used to lambast a childhood friend that he only liked acdc because his dad did. Turns out his dad was just cooler than I realised. If I'd grown up in this era I think this would be my jam. Pass me the air guitar
