Really like the instrumentals, bit of The Police together with Doe Maar vibes. Generally fun album, don’t really know about the vocals, though. I’m not in love, really strong start, but the talksinging is not my favorite

Graceland by Paul Simon
May 17 2023

Damn dit laat me koud… leuk om te weten dat You can call me Al hiervan is, maar de rest van zijn nummers zijn gewoon niet zo heel erg spannend. Ben dan ook blij dat het album over is…

It's Blitz! by Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Unique sound. Bit of space-poppunk. Of course, I knew heads will roll, but never heard the rest. Im gonna check out their other albums. Excellent basslines, groovy melodies too. Singer has a unique style, although the non-words sound a bit (a lot) like sex sounds

Different Class by Pulp
May 19 2023

Some songs are absolute bangers, others really don’t do anything to me. I can hear though that this is like a foundation for newer britpunk/britrock. 3.5 of 5

Catch A Fire by Bob Marley & The Wailers
May 21 2023

A real classic. Lovely for a slow afternoon/evening ;)

Low by David Bowie
May 22 2023

Doesn’t do it for me. I don’t know but Bowie just doesn’t resonate with me. Tried his stuff multiple times, and normally I love experimental rock, but this is too much

Mothership Connection by Parliament
May 23 2023

Are they by any change a funk band? Why do they need the funk? What are they going to do with it?

Group Sex by Circle Jerks
May 24 2023

I just woke up and I got the ‘pleasure’ to listen to hard punk with my morning coffee. Although I listen to punkrock and occasionally also normal punk, this was a bit too much for me. Luckily, like a good punk band, they decided to put as many songs in 15 minutes as possible.

Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
May 25 2023

Yess!! Great album! This has to be the best debut album of all time, with their greatest hits on them too. Love it!

Young Americans by David Bowie
May 26 2023

A bit less experimental for Bowie, but still not exiting enough to want more, or listen to it another time

Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
May 27 2023

Original stuff. I have to think a bit about mumford and sons when listening to this (probably same genre). Some songs are sleep inducing, while others are quite exiting. Bit of a bad mix of both in my opinion

Murmur by R.E.M.

Your typical 80s rock. Im not sure why this album of rem is chosen and not out of time, but it is a fine album. I would describe it as 'just good'.
