overall: feels like every awkward dance scene in a teen rom com. elvis costello to me sounds like a guy trynna be someone else like drowned in water and thrown across a field? i cant put my finger on it but it just doesnt sound right. the instrumentals arent bad especially for the time. take this album, tweak it for the 90s and it would slap

not my fav. sounds fine if on shuffle for background music but for sit down listening or for me to actively choose it, i need more substance. track 3 by far the best.
