Has PJ channeled Pink Floyd and Johnny Rotten? The mix of instruments is wonderful. The melodies often off-canter. Those trumpet injections into 'The Glorious Land' kill that song. Why a war theme album in 2011?

meh. Always thought Pavement were boring and this confirms it for me.

Not to my taste

Didn't mind the music, though 80's is not my fav sound. His voice is not to my taste. It contrasts in a not good way with the melody.

Better than I expected. I gave that one quite a few rotations.
