First album in this project! Riffs are good all over, if not a little samey towards the end. Never been a fan of the britpop style, wish Julian Casablancas was singing instead. The front half of the album is a lot better than the back half which makes it feel like a drag to finish.

(sorry dad.) Obviously an album with lots of influence, my own taste strays pretty far from hard rock and so it was never really a possibility for this record to catch me off guard or anything. The guitar work is great, but is really the only thing creating a distinction between the songs. I appreciate the musicianship on this album but probably won't return to it much.

liked it. concept was interesting throughout and the 4 song stretch in the middle was fantastic, brainwashed is a personal favorite. didn't blow my mind, but might come back once or twice.

not my favorite, kinda boring and i usually love bowie. the second half was enjoyable but didn't stand out and the first half i didn't like too much. could potentially give another listen or two to see if it grows though

the best i think rap-rock can get. another genre i'm predisposed to hate but i enjoyed it more than i thought i would, the energy was contagious on every song and they all stood out besides one or two. hard for me to give this a great rating though. just can't be obsessed with the genre

really good album, except for the length. songs that had the potential to stand out became blurred with the rest, there are some top, top tracks on here though that are basically the best i've heard from fleetwood mac, j wish it was a little shorter.

one of those albums whose influence you hear everywhere in modern music, but it does nothing for me. everything is just... boring as fuck. it was probably revolutionary when it came out but this just seems like the most basic synthpop music. every song sounds like it should be playing in the breakfast club opening credits.

pretty good, first song made me think i was gonna like it a little more than i did though bc that was a fucking banger. good and consistent album, only one or two "wow" moments though.

fire. you know you made it when you get played in every mall in america and also make fantastic music. her voice is incredible and the songwriting is great, melodies get instantly stuck in your head too.

i don't like pavement. only giving two stars bc the instrumentation is good. vocal style is not my thing at all, and the lyrics are just bullshit. maybe after listening to hundreds of more albums on this list i'll find something to appreciate in the whiny slacker-rock genre
really good album. happy as fuck (mostly) songs are all super interesting too

alright, production was really good and i can tell it influenced a lot of the experimental/glitchy production in rap today. dizzees actual rapping wasn't too interesting either it led to a lot of the songs sounding the same
