The Wildest! by Louis Prima
Aug 20 2023

Love this kind of music, it fits to snugly into whether you're in a boogie mood or chillout mood, with humour/scat to boot! Favourite track is probably 'Banana Split for my Baby', found the album stopped very suddenly though without a winddown, did enjoy the whole thing though, a nice fun album. Also Keely Smith is utterly delightful, I could listen to her all day.

Harvest by Neil Young
Aug 22 2023

It seems only 'The Needle and the Damage Done' is the only song available on my platform of choice at present, and while a good song I can't possibly judge the whole album.

2112 by Rush
Aug 24 2023

*Love* the 'hands-on-mixing-desk' performance work, that kind of thing always pulls me in, much like Dark Side of the Moon does. Not been familiar at all with Rush's work before, the only song I knew was Spirit of Radio, but I'm really enjoying this as I type+listen at the same time. And now afterwards, yeah I really enjoyed that technically, and another one of those albums you can either blast or fits nicely as background for a chillout sesh.

Elephant by The White Stripes
Aug 25 2023

Except for the singles, I've never actually heard this album until now. I love the grooves a lot, right up my street for a good nod-along, my favourite being Ball & Biscuit. Saved to the library!
