Great for background music. Vocals not particularly impressive. Intro to the album was something I could listen to again.
I listened to the live version on YouTube. I was more interested in the live orchestra in the background and enjoyed the variety of instruments in the intro to each of the songs.
The actual song was not as interesting and most of the songs featured lines of 2-3 words that were repeated a lot. It reminded me of how someone would sing randomly at home while cooking dinner or doing chores, almost nonsensical. There didn't seem to be much diversity in the content of the lyrics among the songs in the album.
It reminds of Nujabes, with a lot more sampling from drums. Really nice music. I especially liked What does your soul look like and organ donor.
Great album. Interesting and relevant lyrics that made listening worthwhile. I didn't know Tricky was from this album, important to keep in mind. My favorite from this album: My Adidas, It's Tricky, Hit it Run, and You be Ill'in. But all then songs had their own unique flavor and interesting aspects which made this album not boring at all. 10/10 would listen to again multiple times.
What I would imagine country rock would sound like. Quite pleasant to the ears.
I enjoyed Commotion and The night time is the right time.
pretty cool topics covered in the songs- including mental health. My favorite of the album- message in a bottle, contact, does everyone stare, and no time this time
There is a lot to uncover that I can't simply do in one hearing of the album. There is a lot of emotion conveyed through these songs, and the lyrics are powerful upon first hearing. As I listen to this more than once and look up the lyrics I sense a few more nuances and meaning behind the lyrics.
There is a lot of mention about milk, iron, and suicide
Soft, slow songs. Could listen to these while I have a headache, they are soothing.
Interesting, I particularly enjoyed Total Trash
1980s Taylor Swift with a country vibe. Very lovey lovey- but not my cup of tea.
Good music, lyrics are pretty old school
I really enjoyed vocals and harmonizing in the background. Guitar at times seems outdated now, but drums were awesome. Relatable lyrics. My favorites were Foreplay/Longtime and Let me take you home tonight.
