1001 Albums Summary

I gave up with it about halfway through (track 12/22). Good synthpop but unnecessarily long and felt a big drop off after the first half dozen

Was a new one for me, immediately thought it sounded similar to El-P from Run the Jewels. Turns out aesop rock was signed to his album for a while. Lyricism was unreal, good find

Definitely not my thing. Brother confirmed it was his thing, saw them in ABC. I do wonder if we were 3-5 years younger would it have had a different impression? (Emo/pop metal vs equivalent pop punk while we were at high school). Anyway probably a 2 star, talented guitar but pretty cheesy

I prefer earlier gorillaz stuff but this was fine and seemed like more of a random collaboration album than anything
