Despite occasionally sounding outdated, Linkin Park’s debut surprisingly stood the rest of time very well for the most part. Proving to definitely be one of the more influential projects of the early 2000’s, Hybrid Theory remains one of the most interesting and unique rock records that I have heard in recent memory, and one that I imagine I will only grow more fond of as I become more familiar with it.

Solid proof that the Saxophone truly is the sexiest musical instrument. As my first proper introduction to the world of Jazz, this was a very pleasant listening experience that I hope to revisit semi-often.

As my introduction to the music of Stevie Wonder, this was pretty great and even sometime beautiful. However, although I recognise it as a fantastic album on a technical level, I feel I don’t really have any sort of emotional connection to it personally.
Honestly it probably just hasn’t quite clicked for me yet, but I don’t imagine myself revisiting this too often for that reason. But I still admire this project and it’s sounds. I just hope that after continuous listens I can truly fall in love with it.

Really really liked this. “Bitter Sweet Symphony” is an obvious highlight, but it’s far from the only one as “The Drugs Don’t Work” is a close second for me. Actually the first half of this was often times close to perfect. My only real complaint is that 75 minutes is a bit too long for the project as I usually start to lose interest towards the end. But overall this was great.
The album starts off amazing with the first two tracks, but after that it become forgettable and it’s runtime doesn’t feel long enough for the album to be fully developed.

Beautiful vocals, amazing production, and interesting concept. Channel Orange is a fun, yet thematically deep album from one of my favourite artists.
Sometimes it’s some of the best pop music ever produced. But it has one or two skips that keep it from truly being incredible.
No matter how many times I listen to it and how hard I try, I struggle to remember anything about this. Nothing really stands out at all and it’s just a pretty forgettable experience.
Don’t really know why it is on the list to be honest…
“Monkey Gone To Heaven” and “Hey” are easily two of the bands best songs. Yet everything else on the album is still consistent amazing.
