With “Come Together” as the opening tune / then transitioning to “Something” … what more can you say? Except it only continues to get better … no wonder it’s on every rankers’ list of top 5 Albums of all time … no disagreements here … a generational work of art …
A good listen- a few good tracks — with good vibe and groove
Some great tracks on this little gem— Our Lips are Sealed…We Got the Beat… a strong alternative to Blondie - new wave music with bright brassy pop overtones— a new wave classic … sends me to my memories of driving fast on a late Sunday afternoon back from the beach in my White Camaro SS. Those were the days lol.
Not his best effort — Dark Star far surpasses this effort … but still very enjoyable

Crushing solos and driving beat makes this one a ZZ Classic
To think that GH created this album at the tender age of 27 … The last song recorded on Let it Be was GH’s I Me Mine (ha!) and then GH releases ATMP!! The cover speaks volumes of what GH must have been feeling when he released it … three toppled garden gnomes and GH in a chair …, first triple album in Rock History simultaneously occupying both #1 Album and Single an amazing and influential work!!
Probably the first rap/hip hop album to be taken seriously, it is a rich, diverse, and ultimately unnerving listening experience. As the then current order is questioned and criticized - rightfully so …
A hard listen for me to be quite honest — but I can see the and hear the talent this band has … unfortunately it doesn’t suit my listening tastes.
