So Much For The City
The ThrillsI listened to this album a lot when it came out. It’s airy music that’s nice to listen to at the cottage in the summer. Nice harmonies. Solid indie record. Can’t imagine all the Iggy Poppers liking it much haha.

I remember hearing songs from this album at the time but don’t think I listened to the full album until Seven Nation Army came out. It has humour and good lyrics. Sounds raw. Some massive hits too but maybe a few songs could’ve missed the cut. Nostalgic music for the early 2000’s.
Just an okay album. Only a couple of songs grabbed me and it wasn’t the overplayed Song 2 which reminded me of being a kid at a school dance again. Song 2 is the only song I’d heard off this album before. Beetlebum and Death of a Party were best to me. Some interesting sounds but meh.
Summer sounding music. Happy.
A moody experimental sounding album. Requires repeat listening as there is a lot of interesting stuff going on. Second half of the album is my favourite of the two. I think the melodies are more appealing.
Some classics on here. Not completely my thing but can’t argue with the classics.

Poppy summer music. One bona fide hit. There’s a certain lounge quality to it.
A lot to get through. Interesting sounds you don’t hear on any other rap. Some classics from high school years. Have to listen again.
Just can’t get into it.
Definitely a cool sound to this album and I know its importance but it can all start sounding same-y over time. Not enough variety of sound for my taste in hip hop. Great lyricism though and strong ending.
One of the best of all time. Listened to this album a ton when it came out and still revisit it often. The beats and samples are outstanding. Her voice is dynamic. Love it.
For what it is it’s good though it’s not my go to genre. Pretty energetic.
A lot going on here. Privacy rewards repeat listens. True psychedelic music. Weird sounds.
I loved this. So nice to listen to. Those harmonies. Guinevere was the standout for me. Breezy.
Smooth
It’s just fine. I dunno.
Not much to be said. Superb.
Pleasant
Don’t really remember any of the songs.
This is what I think of when I think of 60s psychedelic.
I love this shit. LCD Soundsystem took tremendous inspiration from this album for their 45:33 record. Didn’t know just how much until listening.
