1001 Albums Summary

Can’t go wrong with Fleetwood Mac. This is my third consecutive 4 star rating, I’m gonna start being a little more critical.

3-3.5 for me. Huge wave of nostalgia for 2k17 hit when heart of the city came on. When that song plays I feel like I could green Carmelo Anthony’s jump shot with my eyes closed.

Not the biggest prince guy but man can he rip the guitar. Still enjoyed the album and listened to it a few times but probably won’t be coming back anytime soon. 2.5

Came into this loving the white stripes. Hearing Fell In Love With a Girl is one of my earliest memories of music and made me want to try guitar myself. Listened to the album through 4 or 5 times yesterday. Solid 4.0

Just couldn’t get into it personally

Fr? Album came out in 1957 and I tried to put it in perspective, but I couldn’t get into it. The rhythms were nice to zone out to at times while working, but then an oddly place yell would just pull me right out of focus. I understand music was not as easily accessible back then but I would much rather listen to Elvis or chuck berry or maybe even my dryer running instead of this if I was alive in 1957.

Today was a good day is an all time, timeless classic. Wouldn’t say I cared for much of the rest of the album

Knew the hits on this album but have never listened to much Aerosmith. Enjoyed it

Made me feel like a robot but in a good, locked in way. Enjoyed listening to it at the gym but I doubt I would ever listen again. 2.5

A little too gushy for my taste. When I heard the cover of help I actually took a break and listened to the Beatles album. Just shows there was better pop music around that time that I’d rather listen to.

Surprised to see a 2009 album on here, I thought it only went up to 05. Heads will roll is an all time classic
