Pet Sounds
The Beach BoysCan’t beat it, truly iconic.
Can’t beat it, truly iconic.
Music transcending sonic sight; love and emotions in the depths of hungry horns and jaunty bass lines. Sounds instantly classic. You could say the title is hubris, but you’d be wrong. Easy and pleasurable listening.
It’s okay. Not really my thing. I can tell it’s impressive, unique sounding, just doesn’t do it for me. Too much of what sounds like wining and synth bits/drum loops. Def pop. Not for me.
Bit all over the place. Struggle but I could appreciate the ideas
Solid soul. Instrumental is nice. Organ is nice. 3.8/5
It’s good. Listenable, 4/5
Bad moon is actually not the most enjoyable track on this LP, it’s a bit distracting, out of place, doesn’t fit the rolling vibe of the rest of the country/rock songs. Classic rock is nice.
Not great. 2/5
Hey nineteen, that’s Aretha Franklin; she don’t remember, Queen of Soul.
Can’t beat it, truly iconic.
But what about morning glory ?
Ahh yeah c’mon. Jonathan richman is the goat. Just another excuse to put this banger on. I also feel it’s worth mentioning that the only reason all the tasteless hack reviews on this website are comparing this to the doors is probably because they heard an organ. Look, you’re entitled to your opinions, but fuck me, the reviews on this website are often hilarious. You can’t appreciate good, coherent listening experiences. Fricken hell it stresses me out just thinking about you wannabe critics sitting in your stinky chairs writing garbage about music you’re clearly too fucking dumb to understand. Take the L and move on. And I’ve looked at your listening history and see you’ve enjoyed really good albums, (like the person who like fragile by Yes I salute you mate) but how on earth you can enjoy something classic like enter the wutang and then overlook something like this ? Insane.
