1001 Albums Summary

It was fine, I've heard all the songs before so it was nothing new. Nothing life changing. Nowhere Man, Michelle, and In My Life were favorites.

Didn't do it for me. I suppose I just don't get jazz though.

Feels a little amateur considering I just listened to Rubber Soul two days ago. Who knew there would be so much Beatles on here.

I wasn't listening in the best circumstances, but while it was certainly an entertaining collection of songs, there just seemed to be a huge gap between the hits that I was familiar with and the other tracks. The hits are amazing and there's three or four of them here, but the rest just felt insignificant.

I really enjoyed this. Great lively churchy Southern organ music. Reminded me of living in simpler times.

Pretty terrible, funky electro pop. At first I thought I got some Talking Heads vibes vocally, but lyrically and musically none of it really sounded good.

This was great! Never seen the movie or listened to a Prince album all the way through. But a great vibe, sexual sentimental, and fun all the way through!

Impressive for two-disc nearly two hours of music. Felt like Beatles without the corniness.

Overall good vibes, seemed like it might be good for dancing or background music, but just listening was okay.
