The Cars by The Cars
Oct 06 2023

A nice and cohesive little album, since it only runs 35 min. Most of my criticisms come from the fact that this is getting close to 50 years old, and rock has pushed its boundaries farther and farther with the years so this can sound a little derivative. But even with all that it's a solid album, I like the bouncy synthesizer lines thrown on top of several of the songs. It cuts through the guitars and drums and captures my attention when it happens.

In Rainbows by Radiohead
Oct 07 2023

I don't really like Radiohead, so this is going to be tough. I liked 15 Step until the beat did a weird change-up. Bodysnatchers is solid the whole way through, maybe I like it because of the straightforwardness. The subtleness of the instrumentation can be cool to notice.

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac
Oct 08 2023

I liked it, but not as much as rumors. I did like the energy it has

Synchronicity by The Police
Oct 09 2023

This kinda feels like music Patrick Bateman would jam to while walking to his cubicle. Okay after listening to Mother, maybe it's Norman Bates. I still like it despite that comparison. Highlights: Synchronicity I & II, Miss Gradenko, Murder, By the numbers

Rubber Soul by Beatles
Oct 10 2023

Not the biggest Beatles fan, but it's alright
