1001 Albums Summary

This is a very light and relaxing 80s like rock album. It’s very casual and easy listening while multitasking around the house. The lead singer has a voice similar to the lead singer of The Cure and overall has a “Pictures of You” by The Cure kind of vibe throughout the whole album.

This album is a mixed bag of nuts with no song being particularly great or memorable. It’s very much a sleeper album with an underlying theme of late 60s early rock. The lead singer sounds like a combination of Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones if they made bad music.

This is a very classic R&B album that has aged very well. Although it’s a very short album, it has longer songs that are very soulful while crisp beats play in the background. I can hear hints of where modern day artists like Michael Kiwanuka got their inspiration from.

Very boring album to listen to. There wasn’t anything special about it. It sounded like a very standard rock album from the 70s.

This album was good to listen to while working on other projects. I’m not sure if I would specifically look for this album to play, but if it’s songs came on a radio station, I wouldn’t mind.

The classic Bob Dylan album. It’s a folk masterpiece and always a joy to listen to.

It’s a classic funk album. It has some good, but repetitive songs. If I were to listen to this again, I think only 1 or 2 songs would be enough to say I listened to the whole album.
