Kenya by Machito
Oct 10 2023

solid jazz fixture

Africa Brasil by Jorge Ben Jor
Oct 13 2023

Decent album, only really liked the opener, everything else was kind of background music.

Maxinquaye by Tricky
Oct 14 2023

Great first couple songs but then it drags, hated the back end of the album immensely.

Elastica by Elastica
Oct 15 2023

Middling punk rock fare. I was generally bored, and I’ve heard better, but it wasn’t offensively bad

Surf's Up by The Beach Boys
Oct 16 2023

Pretty easy listening, classic Beach Boys. “Student Demonstration Time” stood out as my favorite, while the other songs were plain pleasant.

Rapture by Anita Baker
Oct 17 2023

not my style.

One World by John Martyn
Oct 18 2023

Interesting voice, decently captivating music. Didn't actively dislike, but nothing blew me away to get any more than 3 stars.

Rubber Soul by Beatles
Oct 20 2023

idk i don't get the Beatles, maybe Abbey Road, Revolver, White album, can change my mind. I'm sure their sound was unique for the time but I can't shake the feeling that their legendary body of work inspired enough people to the point where their legacy is muddled by equally classic works by the next generation of artists.

Oct 21 2023

It's Jamiroquai, cool funk beats but sometimes the lyrics took me out of the vibes.

There's A Riot Goin' On by Sly & The Family Stone
Oct 24 2023

Now this is funk. Little dark lyrics but I like the juxtaposition with the bouncy instrumentalism.
