Sledgehammer is an all time amazing song, and I love Big Time, but honestly the slower songs were just... fine to me.
This is not really my genre, the music all sounded kind of samey to me. Not bad, just fine, just not my thing. I listened to it a couple of days ago and already forgot the entire thing.
I was kind of expecting relatively inoffensive dadrock, but I ended up liking it a lot more than I thought. It triggered some nostalgia in me that I didn't know I had, especially Wasting Time.
Honestly, I'm a bit torn here. This style of music isn't for me. Will I listen again? No. Can I appreciate it for what it is? Yes.
It's very simple, kind of repetitive, but it's listenable and breezy. If I was sitting in a rocking chair on a porch with a beer, I could see myself being happy listening to it.
I really enjoyed The World is Yours, One Love, and It Ain't Hard to Tell. The rest kind of blended together for me, but I enjoyed my listen.

I admit my bias, because this is one of the, if not the first, CDs I ever owned. This was a nostalgia trip, and it is still excellent. Black is my favorite Pearl Jam song, but listening again I remember liking some of the lesser known songs like Deep and Garden quite a bit. I enjoyed it all the way through.
I went into this not knowing what to expect. I did like the Green Genes song, but honestly the rest of it was just too random and noodley for me - there was one point in the Gumbo track I thought I was going to go insane.
The Girl is Mine is boring and blah, but the rest of the album is all bangers all the time.
I liked Motor City is Burning, and a bit of the instrumentation, but that was about it. This really isn't my kind of music.
Sorry, I actually found this kind of painful to listen to. The first song I had hopes, the one radio release was all right, but by the end of it I had to take a couple of breaks, because, woof.
Did not like this at all. Not much of a country fan to begin with, and neither liked the singing nor the instrumentation. Everything sounded the same.
I liked this more than I was expecting. I'm not too familiar with their music outside of a couple of songs, but I can see how great this show would be if you were a fan. Neutral on the singer but thought the instrumentation and the solos were good!

I admit I’m a bit biased as I did have this album growing up, but it still holds up amazingly well! I kept listening expecting to find at least one dud somewhere but nope, enjoyed the entire album all over again. There is something about Chester’s energy.
Easy to listen to, but the songs all blurred together into sameness after a while. I knew there was some social commentary in there, but it was a bit difficult to relate to. Victoria is pretty catchy.
This is a bit closer to a 3.5 for me but I'll round up knowing this isn't my kind of music. I liked the tracks that told stories like the title, Travelin Man, and If I Lose My Mind. The music itself all kind of blended together for me but it was a nice breezy listen.
I also had this growing up, though I didn't like it on a relisten as much as I did back then. I don't love the interludes, and some of the songs don't do anything for me (like Lost Ones). When it hits, though, it hits well. I especially like To Zion and Tell Him.
I went into this with a bias, knowing I was probably going to hate it. And, well, I mostly did. I liked the instrumentation more than I expected at the beginning, but I just couldn't get over how much I hated the vocals. Then the last two tracks were just completely excruciating to listen to.
It was all right. I listened to it a couple of days ago and I already forgot most of it. The vocals kind of wore on me after a while. Probably closer to 2.5 but I'll round up. I do remember liking the last track.
This was a pleasant surprise! No idea what to expect with this. It was a bit TOO chill for my tastes but she has a great voice and I always like a good storyteller. I also liked The Jungle Line even though I thought it was just so, so weird.
