First album. Haven't have a lot of time to listen to it. Surprised to find Superstition on my first album, so that was kinda fun.
Maybe Your Baby is a bit too slow for my tastes. I liked how upbeat You Are The Sunshine Of My Life is. I liked Superstition (obviously) and I Believe.
Nothing in this album sticks out to me in particular. I think I like the rhythm section of the songs, the guitars/bass/drums. But I don't like the singing. Also some songs sound weirdly, dissonant? Like the chords make sense but they sound wrong? Like some sort of intentional off pitch.
This is one of those albums that is a bit too outside of my comfort zone to enjoy it. I guess I'll need to start getting used to this soon!
On a second listen, a lot of the songs are pretty interesting. I'll give another chance to this album another day, not at midnight.
Cool album. My first time hearing Band On The Run (song) was the cover done by Foo Fighters. I liked all the songs, but nothing really caught my attention.
Meh. I liked the rhythm, didn't like the rapping. First song reminded me of Blast Off by Gesaffelstein. Though there wasn't a climax in the song, which is frustrating to listen to after all the build up.
Album is quite a bop. The album started off with a banger with Don't Stop Till You Get Enough, very nostalgic. Reminds me of listening to Michael Jackson with my dad when I was small.
I liked the chorus in Off the Wall, and many other songs. Cool effect with layered vocals. Also the whole disco (?) feel of the album. Very upbeat and fast pace of the songs. I like how boppy the slap bass is. I like this album.
I feel like I would rate this album higher, but maybe I'm gravitating towards more pop/simple music now. But I can certainly see the appeal of this album.
What a banger. I've written a long review before but it got lost. So uhh.
Coolest synth song with the coolest guitar band. Whee.
meh. Didn't really it that much.
Dark fantasy was ok. I liked the rhythm. Everything else felt really meh. Couldn't really get into rap. Didn't like the lyrics either.
hmm. Decent cool album? I liked Red Alert. The other songs were not quite as memorable. I did like the beat of the songs, but nothing was exceptionally memorable.
I've only really listened to the first few songs on the album, it was mostly background music to me. I liked Penguin Cafe Single, quite a playful song. Zopf: From The Colonies was also fun. I noticed how there were often bits repeating for a long time, almost like licks. Sometimes it feels like an assortment of instruments loops arranged by a garageband beginner. Since I rarely listen to orchestra music, this makes it a bit easy to grasp what's going on.
Cool album, didn't really listen to it too careful. Would put on as background music again.
Fun. Quite fun. Its such a bop. It's so simple in style and chill. But the vocals are quite amazing to listen to.
I like it.
meh. Would listen as backgroudn music.
didn't really listen but first song is a bop.
didn't listen to it that much but its ok.
Decent album. Favorite song I bet you look good on the dance floor. Prefer the slower AM though.
Unique
I like it. Sounds very daft punky. rhythmic and unique.
