1001 Albums Summary

There's a bit of Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, ugh Black Sabbath is the best. Fairies Wear Boots AWESOME. War Pigs and Paranoid, iconic as always. This is definitely one of my favourite albums ever - Black Sabbath, what an amazing band. The basis for most (if not all) heavy metal music today. 10/10

I like Scissor Sisters but maybe not so much that would make me want to listen to an entire album. It's definitely different from other pop artists, but not necessarily my cup of tea. Had to stop and listen to something else to cleanse my palate and then continue with the album. Not bad, but also not the best

AHHH I loved it. All that is good with music is embodied by this record.

Weird mix between The Smiths, The Shins (even though it's before them), also made me think of Franz Ferdinand and some hispanic rock bands from the 80s. Not my style necessarily, but quite a new sound for music in english for 1989. Parts of some songs have that usual 90s distortions, in the guitar and in the voice. The singer is quite charismatic, but it's not something I'd listen to in purpose.

The Doors is by far one of the best bands in the world. This album, omfg!! All incredible songs but Riders on the Storm WOAH what an amazing song. Huge fan, great album

I liked it, I think Sunshine of your Love is definitely one of the best songs in the world, and perhaps Clapton's best, but the album was a bit too monotonous for me. I enjoyed it and I wouldn't mind listening to it again, but maybe in small doses
