1001 Albums Summary

Out of the entire album I enjoyed 2 songs but overall found it repetitive and boring

I liked this better than potter sounds. A lot of the songs seemed to blend together but her voice is really unique!

Good jazz. Every song is an hour long

Now we’re talking. I imagine george lucas invented jizz based directly of this. Great sound and even though the songs are nearly 20 minutes long. They get stuck in your head

I liked this album but it really isn’t my kind of music at all. I can see that it is good and fun but i really wouldn’t ever listen to it

Classic bob dylan. You always knew it was gonna be good. The harmonica is so fun and unique.

Little simz immediately slaps you in the face with a completely unique and even silly production on the song”offence”. She shows understanding and love for old school hiphop while nailing a completely new and modern take on “alt hiphop”. Some of the songs work the whole way through but because of their out there nature/goofiness I can see many of these tracks not holding up for multiple listen throughs. Female hiphop is in a renaissance and it’s easy to see why with artists like this spearheading the charge! Hopefully artists like Dave, stormzy, AJ Tracey and little simz can bring UK rap to the states!
