Pink Moon
Nick DrakeA bit too soft and whispery for my tastes. Definitely picked up on the second half. The stretch from Know - Free Ride were more dynamic.

Really strong album, instrumentation is really good. Words is an insanely good southern rock song. Favorites: Words ^^^^^ Alabama ^^ Heart of Gold ^^
The best spin off WuTang Album, the Samurai samples are sick and everyone's rapping on this Favorites: Liquid Swords 4th Chamber Duel of the Iron Mic
I wanted to like it, there are some good melodies and some of the arrangements are really interesting, but the vocal performance and airy-ness of the record were too much for me to enjoy
One of, if not the best solo album from a beatle
Pretty good rock album, the first half was pretty great A lot of interesting riffs and musical ideas... 3.5 probably it doesn't all land
Its hard to give an accurate read on albums from before the pop music revolution of the early 60s, as they just sound different to modern ears but its solid for what it is. The popular cuts -- Long Tall Sally, Tutti Frutti -- are good stuff
Oof, I know there's a lot of hits on this album, but as a cohesive album, it didn't really capture my attention and seemed pretty phoned in
I guess I have to go listen to everything Neil Young ever did. It's odd to me how little he's in the current zeitgeist because he makes timeless music.
There were interesting songs, but really it felt like you could pick a record out of a crate at random and you'd not really be able to tell the difference from this record Best: Without You
