1001 Albums Summary

Loved hearing some of the less often played songs.

Not my favorite. A few songs are okay but overall not my thing.

Sounds like the Doors, Beach Boys, and the Beatles had a baby.

Never heard of them before - interesting album. Pretty "jammy" at the end. Almost Doors-like.

Good album, but not something I'd listen to often. Through this music I found Wanitwa Mos & Nkosazana Daughter's Makhelwane album, which is really engaging, especially the track Majwaleni.

I now am aware of Elvis' impact on Sturgill Simpson. Dang.

To me, this is the definition of disco. Disco isn't my favorite.

Good album - I'd categorize as 'modern rock' of the 2000's.

Young's first album with Crazy Horse Cinnamon Girl Down by the river A "ten"

Came out when I was 9 or 10 years old so my rating is heavy on nostalgia. This album has one of my favorite MJ songs on it in "Man in the Mirror".

Wish I saw this tour but alas, I was 8 years old when it was released. So many songs to love. Hits like Sledgehammer (great video) and In Your Eyes move the needle with milder tunes Don't Give Up and Mercy Street tending to the soul. 10/10
