Really great album with a lot of legendary songs but ideally it should not have been a double albu..

Gets more odd the longer you listen to it :D I listened mostly to Joe's Garage from Zappa, plus a few more popular songs here and there - I don't see myself listening to music such as this album as often, but I understand its significance.

Opening and penultimate track are often on repeat when I listen to this album. Such a great album. Needs to be listened from start to end to be appreciated fully by new listeners. Standout tracks for me: - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - With a Little Help from My Friends - She's Leaving Home - Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite! - When I'm Sixty-Four - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise) And of course, A Day in the Life. It's such a shame that Penny Lane and especially Strawberry Fields Forever (which I consider their best song) did not end up on it - it would cement its place as the best rock album in history IMO.

Very good album. 4/5 stars.
