I've Got My Mojo Working was a real standout due to the lipwork. Rest of the record was decent 👍

gonna have to return to the less obvious ones on this one. because turning tables and one and only have my heart <3

I was captivated by the title and the band name. I'd heard of them thrown around in various conversations but I never sat down and listened. Don't regret this listening experience at all. I was expecting variation between tracks, particularly for "Ego Tripping at the Gates of Hell" to go hard but also pleased that this album is sonically cohesive. I live for the punch in the gut on "Do You Realize??" I will definitely be returning to this time and time again; it's so gorgeous.

I understand its importance, it's just not for me.

This just isn't my thing. It doesn't help that there's a 2+ minute monologue on the last track. There are much more developed albums in these genres.

the kids choir on dance was a real highlight and the rapping on the party - highly enjoyable listen

wasn't feeling this one until battered old bird gave me chills w the vocal work. really tells you what the record's about

only 3 stars bc it has a horny song on it and it's NNN but hey it's got purple freaking rain on it i can't rate it any lower
