1001 Albums Summary

Decent tunes relaxed good to listen to in the garden with a beer.

Pleasantly surprised first 2 songs but then got abit repetitive and samey. Lyrics not that deep or expressed well and riffs all merge into each other. Thought it has potential for a relisten at first but nah. Slog to get through 4/10

When I first saw it come on reaction: oh come on easy 5 star. On listen few filler songs do the highs justify the mids? Not in my eyes. Still a great album would I say perfect? No 8.5/10

Drums seem to loud. Seems like a demo mix. Every riff seems to have an extra note that makes it not catchy. Nothing memorable except for one chorus. Bad album sandwiched between good albums no wonder never listened to it. 3/10

All filler 1 killer. Nothing else I'd contemplate listening to again. Starting to wish it was 1001 songs not albums. Was hoping to uncover some hidden gems but maybe there is a reason I don't know the songs. 2nd half of album he doesn't even bother singing. 2.5/10

Some good anthems. Provably heard them too much to have an impact. Can't knock it but nothing special. 6.5/10

Some good tunes on can't knock it. First album I've never heard of though heard of the band. Very American psychoesque. 5.5/10

Like a soft new order. Some good tunes nothing I'd probably revisit much. Being boring was good. Like world in motion 5/10

Some good tunes dirt and tv eye. Some meh like la blues. What a bad end to the album not as good as the other 2 stooges albums probably why I've not listened to this much. 5/10

On nostalgia alone

Alright surprisingly. Rung below Neil Young some good tracks. 5.5/10

Abit self indulgent. Maybe If you've gone through a divorce you can relate. Not bad just nothing sticking. 4/10

Can't knock it. Discovered man needs a maid good tune. Needs a few guitar solos. 8/10

Frank crappa. Guitars good can take or leave the rest. Only song liked Willie the pimp. 3.5/10

Thought jonny Marr was in the the? Nothing really stand out probably would listen to again. 3/10

After years of waiting nothing came

Could be higher but songs all go on too long. If it wasn't daft punk would probably score it less. 4.5/10

7/10. Shame its over 3 chords add some synthes could be amazing. Maybe a project for the future.
